At a glance
BuyFloor is a Chrome extension for manual eBay UK resale estimates. Calculations, buying rules, notes and saved decisions stay in Chrome's local extension storage. BuyFloor has no advertising, cross-site tracking or behavioural analytics and does not sell personal information.
Information on your device
BuyFloor stores calculator settings, the current calculation and saved decisions locally. A saved decision can include a name you enter, expected sale price, purchase price, cost and fee assumptions, notes and the calculated result. This deal data is not uploaded to BuyFloor, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe or eBay. It remains until you delete it, clear the extension's storage or uninstall BuyFloor.
Account and billing information
If you create an optional account, Supabase processes your email address, password hash, authentication events and session information. BuyFloor's API on Vercel receives your authenticated account identifier and stores the Stripe customer, checkout and subscription identifiers needed to provide Pro access. Stripe processes your email, billing contact information, payment method and transaction information; BuyFloor never receives or stores full card details.
Why we use this information
Account and subscription information is used to create and secure your account, complete checkout, confirm Pro access, prevent duplicate billing, let you manage or cancel a subscription, provide support and meet accounting or legal duties. The lawful basis is performance of our contract or steps you ask us to take before entering it. Security and fraud-prevention processing is based on BuyFloor's legitimate interest in protecting customers and the service. Records required for tax, accounting or legal claims are processed to meet legal obligations.
Browser and network access
BuyFloor uses Chrome's storage permission to save work locally and sidePanel to display the calculator. Network access is limited to BuyFloor's billing API and Supabase authentication. It does not request access to eBay pages, browsing history or website content and cannot place bids, buy items or send eBay messages.
Service providers and international transfers
BuyFloor uses Google Chrome, Supabase for authentication and database hosting, Vercel for API and website hosting, Stripe for payments and Maileroo for account email delivery. These providers may process limited technical logs, such as IP address, request time, device or browser information and errors, for security and reliability. Some providers may process information outside the UK or EEA. Where that happens, the provider relies on an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Retention and deletion
Local deal data follows the on-device retention described above. Account and subscription data is kept while your account is open and then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, subject to security, dispute and legal-record requirements. Transaction and accounting records may be retained for up to seven years. Minimal webhook and reconciliation records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to operate and secure billing. Provider-controlled logs follow each provider's retention settings; BuyFloor does not copy them into a separate analytics profile. Support correspondence is normally removed within 24 months after the request is resolved.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information and may object where processing relies on legitimate interests. These rights are not absolute and depend on the circumstances. To close your account or make a privacy request, email sadmankibria1@gmail.com from the account email. Cancelling Pro stops renewal but does not itself delete the account or local calculations. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local EEA supervisory authority.
Required information and automated decisions
An email address is required only if you choose an account; without it, BuyFloor cannot authenticate you or provide paid access. Billing details are required by Stripe if you purchase Pro. BuyFloor does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and does not use special-category personal information.
Security and children
BuyFloor separates server-only billing tables from its public data API, verifies Stripe webhook signatures and keeps payment credentials out of the extension. No internet service is risk-free, so please use a unique password and keep Chrome updated. BuyFloor is a business utility intended for people aged 18 or over.
Changes
Material changes will appear in an updated notice and, where required, inside the extension before the changed processing begins.
